The same care and consideration that we use to select our linen range now extends to baby skincare products. We have partnered with Aromababy to provide natural, organic, Australian made products to care for all types of baby skin.

SCENTED VS. BLAND: Aromababy offers a selection of both scented and bland options for customers and health professionals who use our products. Many parents choose to use unscented skincare or water, especially for the baby’s first few weeks. Therefore, when we do offer select scented products, we use only the tested and researched combinations of pure, organic, essential oils for their therapeutic properties and calming effects.
PREMATURE BABIES: Research shows that during the first few weeks of a premature baby’s life it is best to use a bland product or simply water. Avoid using your own toiletries or brands which simply add baby products to their adult range. They may share similar harsh bases, unlike manufacturers who specialise only in baby formulas.
ECZEMA & SENSITIVE SKIN: Rates of eczema continue to rise due to presence of irritable ingredients in skincare products such as peanut oil and sulphates (which cause a product to foam). These and other additives strip delicate baby skin of its natural oil causing allergies and rashes. Instead, choose products with primrose oil to soothe dry skin, and calendula oil to heal and moisturise affected areas.
When selecting products, choose baby specific brands, that use pure and organic ingredients. The blander the product and the shortest ingredients list, the less likely your baby is to be sensitive to any of its contents.
